HIGH SCHOOL CLUB MENTORINGThis project was a flyer to put up on notice boards around the school for club activities, events and information. It is a club my son belongs to so it was important to make it appealing to his generation's aesthetic and help them stand out against other notices and flyers. We chose to go with playful with bright colors and a touch of nostalgia in calling out older print styles and methods.
I was able to come in and present as an artist as well as give a lessons on character design exploration and risograph printing. During the hour-long club meetings I focused on helping the students understand and push their creativity through a theme they chose for character exploration and giving them an introduction to 4-color printing.
