HIGH SCHOOL CLUB MENTORINGI participated as a visiting fine artist, leading lessons in character design exploration and introducing students to risograph printing. During the hour-long club meetings, I focused on helping students develop ideas through self-directed themes while teaching the fundamentals of four-color print processes.
For a pumpkin-carving activity, I designed a promotional flyer using an offset risograph-inspired approach. I began with a mood board to identify visual elements that would appeal to a Gen Z audience, emphasizing bold color, texture, and playful graphic forms. The final design referenced vintage print aesthetics while using overlapping color to create visual depth and energy, helping the flyer stand out on school notice boards.
