INVITATION

​This invitation was designed for a shared 90th birthday celebration honoring two lifelong friends who had known each other since first grade. Having remained close throughout their lives, they were celebrating the milestone together as widows now living in the same home.
The design was intended to reflect both women’s elegance and the enduring nature of their friendship. Flowing script gives their names a graceful, feminine presence, while a classic serif typeface provides structure and readability for the event details. I also created loose blue watercolor florals to frame the typography, adding softness and a handcrafted quality while keeping the focus on the celebration and the two women being honored.
The result combines traditional typography, delicate botanical elements, and restrained color to create an invitation that feels personal, graceful, and appropriately celebratory.
