ABOUT ME

Lacee Black is a multidisciplinary graphic designer and illustrator, specializing in branding, packaging, marketing collateral, and product design. Her work blends illustration, typography, and visual storytelling to create engaging, conceptually thoughtful designs that balance creativity with purpose.
She has designed and illustrated collections for American Crafts, including the solo project Little Adventurer, which has since been reprinted and adapted across multiple product lines. She has also collaborated with hand-lettering and fine art specialists on other collections. Her design work spans logos, visual identities, and marketing materials for small businesses, nonprofit organizations, political blogs, and Etsy-based retail products. Projects like HoldTyte Studios showcase her ability to build cohesive packaging, labels, and brand visuals inspired by historical and mystical motifs, creating a consistent and compelling visual story across channels.
Lacee’s background as a fine artist, recognized in local and regional exhibitions, informs her design approach by deepening her understanding of composition, color, and narrative. This foundation allows her to translate complex ideas into visual solutions that are both striking and meaningful.
